Post [DS] Going online after using login disabler
Q: Can I go online and trade my norns online with others after using the login disabler when the server was down?

A: Yes, if you've registered for DS, you can take your world online after using the login disabler. Just open the CAOS command line and type in the following:

Code:
ject "zzz_gamestart_login.cos" 7

This will reload the login script, enabling you to login like starting a new world. You're basically telling the game you haven't been welcomed yet. The server needs a pasword, so you can't avoid that :) And yes this will work for any world, and it is not a restart, so you keep the state of your world.

Thanks to Vampess for providing this answer. :applause:

A question...can this also be used to transfer worlds between accounts? Say I register a world on one account, and later I call this script and put in a new username and password. Would that work?

It should work, but two things are likely to happen:

1.) The world will move over properly but you'll lose all the history from the point of the move.
OR
2.) You'll have duplicate history files for several norns, and have to shuffle between accounts to see them.

It would be like unto sharing a world folder with several people. Not a good idea generally.
