Post [C2 KB] Hand graphic is jerky when moved over play area.
Hand graphic is jerky when moved over play area.
Issue: A player experienced jerky movements on the hand icon over the Creatures 2 play area. The pointer graphic seemed to work fine when on the windows screen.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Analysis: The user experimented with the Control Panels/Mouse settings but this did not help. The game wasn't running slowly, just the hand pointer seemed to be jerky. There was some discussion about how Creatures 2 was getting the mouse position, but this is rules out because the control panels changes these setting and this didn't seem to help. The last suggestion that some special code to rendder the mouse faster was not working. This is special code which was developed for Creatures 2 to make the hand animation smoother than anything else. This may not be working for some reason, though it's unlikely.

Resolution: No resolution was discovered as the customer did not reply to further messages on the topic. So far only one customer has reported this issue to Creature Labs. If you experience this issue, please report it to [No link available.] Report to Gameware.
